So can we get a verdict. Are 205/50's good to fit to 2118's on lowered cars? How low? Sportlines springs.
Thinking of going semi slicks in 205/50. Should be serious grip.
Sorry for the noobiness, but just to consolidate...
My 182 was purchased 2nd hand, and it has the AUX cable in front of the gearstick. IS THIS THE CONNECTS2 unit? It doesn't allow control of the iPod, only volume as it's just an aux plug.
What kit do I need to enable changing of songs/pausing...
Could be tyre pressures too. I think I have higher expectations as my 205 was on 195's with 910kg, not 1100kg. Was just a little more grippy through low speed corners.
My tyres are KU36's (almost semi slick).
Noted. I will check my exhaust extensively when I get a chance, but in Aus we haven't had many cases of exhaust rot like you UK guys (in fact I've never heard of anyone here having it), perhaps due to the drier weather. That said, maybe it is on it's way out and a new exhaust is on the cards.
So save a completely new muffler, what's involved in changing JUST the tips? Can the existing tips be taken off without cutting, or are they welded on?
I dislike the tiny look of the stock exhaust tips. I find them a bit too thick rimmed, and love this sort of look:
Is there any way to fit aftermarket tips? I am overseas atm so can't go and check my car out :P
1.5cm over the mark. We drained about a L (yeah seriously - I'm not normally as thick) and it was below the mark slightly.
Now it's about .5cm over when hot.
Yes level ground on all accounts
Hi guys,
I overfilled my oil pretty badly. I took it down to local, and they drained it using a pump (straight out of dipstick). Yet today when I checked it after a short drive to get it up to temperature, it was still slightly over.
Should I be concerned?
Hi guys,
My 182 (80000km) feels odd atm when taking off in 1st gear. It's as if the biting point changes, and with maybe 1cm left before it's completely out, it behaves as if it's out. Then the next stop light it acts differently again. It also shudders and groans and is quite noisy really. I...
See I disagree. I find the height of the trophy and my car in here perfect. Yeah lower would be alright, but it's not too bad on sportlines.
That RB 182 is hot btw
Hope you're being sarcastic :P f**k it, I'm biting the bullet and just using a trolley jack. Have heard WAYYY too many double entendres and jokes about how pissy the diamond jacks are, I ain't risking it.
Cheers. It's actually a Mercedes C Class (new one) jack, so it'd be plenty strong enough. Just hope it's quality and won't snap on me. I will have wheels under the sills so it should be alright.
Will have to invest in a good trolley jack and 4 axle stands.
