I did the lights myself, but they're only ideal for summer as they dont produce as much light due to spraying the reflective part inside. I'm going to do another set with only a small part of the chrome painted, hopefully will work better with some high power bulbs. If not i'll have to return to...
Bugger! sorry matey that would have been ideal. You manage to get everything out of the car yet?lol
Oh and i've done all 4 wheels lol not just 2 :clown:
There are guides on the net for refurbing/polishing wheels found plenty on VW forums. This is the 3rd set i've done so far.
Gav
Well it's been a while since i've posted any pics of my little motor so here goes...
I hand polished and refurbished the wheels myself, they've turned out sweet imo
Also now got a smoothed bonnet.
Lowered another 20mm allround
Seats are going at the weekend to make way for full...
sweet lord! what a mess :D
theres a bloke at work whos about 50, and he's 'doing up' his 5 door astra. he's already got stickers plastered allover the show and has ordered a subaru style bonnet scoop, dear christ....
Yeah i was expecting that sort of price.
Thing is i would be fitting the engine myself so would save on labour charges, would the insurance be higher on a valver or an RT with a valver lump?
They will fit, and will be low ;) My mate had 55mm springs on his 1.4, when he put the willy engine in it dropped it much further.
Thanks for the reply to the txt btw ref. chopping springs :dapprove:
I've had my car for just over a year now and i've done just about everything i wanted to do to it.
It's now time to decide whether to finish it and drop a valver lump into it or just buy a proper 16v.
It started off as a standard 1.4 mk1 phase 1 RT, heres the current spec.
Renault Clio 1.4...
Either put the turbines on it or spray the gold wheels black and remove the centre caps
I might sell up and just get a valver instead of swapping the lump :dapprove:
