So decided to make a start in tidying things up. First off putting the SSD into a 3.5" adaptor and moving it down under the HDD so to free up the space it was using for future "water plans" :)
First off a check on the dust situation after a month and a half...
Little bit on the fan blades and...
Picked up some sleeving from KustomPC's and some Sata Connectors and there respective caps, normal straight through ones in pic 2 and end cap type in last pic.
Plan is to sleeve and sort out the Sata power cables from the Antec as the spacing of the connectors is crap!
After that I have...
Water is already on the cards. I dont intend to run it at this clock all the time until I get my watercool set-up. I also have a load of other things I want to sort out inside like my cable routings and having matching blue/white connectors on things. Bit sad/gay to some people but I like it.
Yeah thats my thinking too. My next play tonight will be to see how much I can back off the voltage and it stays stable.
Edit im reaching 72 degrees peak with prime 95 (core temp records max temp reached)
Managed to get up-to 4.6ghz and its stable.
Cannot get it anymore then that currently. Up at 4.8 the pc just freezes and doesn't even post the bios, just gets stuck on the bios pop-up screen. I have to turn it off for a few minutes, quickly get into the bios and change things before it...
So I decided to have a proper sit down and try to overclock my 3570K.
Got it running fine currently as 4.5Ghz with a voltage of 1.195. Seems stable running prime95 (I shall run it tonight for 24 hours when I get home). All I changed was the multiplier from 35 to 45 (actually went to 42 first...
El bumpo!
So finally tonight sat down and sorted an overclock. Currently running at 4.5 GHz with 1.195 voltage.
Started at 4.2ghz and 1.2 volts but upped GHz obviously. Temps are 28 ambient and mazes out around 65 ish when running Intel stress test.
I've never done an overclock...
Thats what I thought.
I have been looking at dual pump/reservoirs and found the XSPC ones with the DDC (I think) pumps in them. Overclockers sell a "kit" for around £130 which comes with one of them and for my pusposes I thought that was reasonable.
Randomish question but is this the pump/rest combo you have??

Aye here is mine...

This is what I have
Intel I5 £172.43
Samsung DVD Drive £13.98
Gigabyte GA-Z77D3H £77.60
Antec 620W PSU (I wanted a modular one) £91.28
MSI HD 7850 £179.99 (I only paid £149 at the time)
Samsung...
They will.
It was the same when the other versions came out. Its also not any different from the 4 or 4s (apart from being bigger) to make a screen the way they have now.
I can buy a 4 or 4s screen and digitizer for under £20.
Im sure the screens will come down in price after a few more months but I was gobsmacked they were that much.
And thats without me charging them for doing it ,although im really not sure why they dont go through insurance.
I bet you he is on the Sky Connect service which is the same as one of BT's bundles...I was on that uptill 2 months ago (massive **** up by SKY taking my order for unlimited even though the exchange wasnt LLU'd to them)
Which is pointless as you are paying Sky who then pay BT. Might as well use...
I have the Nexus 7.
Needs to go back to Asus though as its got that really annoying screen flicker issue caused by screen brightness and wifi signal strength. Browsing on here with is is like being in a bloody rave.
I prefer that over over any iPad. Mainly because I can plug it into ANY pc...
Probably.
Previous owners put them in there and I couldnt be arsed to take them out. They never get used apart from when the tv is playing music channels when friends are round. Or if we watch a film.
There is an LG app you can get that turns your phone into a remote. Can only be used once the TV is on mind you so don't know what purpose it serves.
But its an app and we like apps. Suppose its handy if the batteries decide to die on the remote....
I bought the 42" LG with built in Wireless couple of days ago £429 currently which is a Bargain IMO. Its awesome so far. Running Plex on my laptop so I can stream movies to it currently. Has a smaller bezel then the old one mentioned below which means it fits nicely in my hole now.
Had an old...
