I met up with Hipwell off here last night, and we got onto a discussion as to who we would trust do certain things with our 182's, and the answer was basicaly to have to drive EPIC miles away to the likes of Fred @ BTM. This obviously isn't practical for us what so ever, neither of us really...

Where have you purchased the replacement exhaust mounts from? OEM exhaust mounts dont last very long, but there are places you can purchase them from that use better rubbers? Not sure on the 172 mate but a 182 has two rear exhaust mounts for the back boxes, then one just behind the back boxes...

I never get this though. Even if Milltek agreed to it, would your mate not have to take it off his car, put another one on for the time being or live without his car for a while, then send the Exhaust to Milltek, all of which will cost quite a bit, when all he has to do is take it to somehwere...
