just check the fuses one could be blown and you will no doubt have a spare!

RAC check all fuses dont they, thought it was the first thing they done, wen my car cut out last xmas they checked everything my car wouldnt turn over....it turned out a bare wire touched another or something and caused a short in my whole dash board if its an after market cd player check in...
