i called up another few places and they quoted 200 plus VAT, including tracking. so im quite pleased i guess with the £120, as that included tracking aswell.
just the chap i spoke to says it wont lower the car or make any difference to handling, which is really what i want, so was kind of...
right cool cheers for the help.
i have been able to find a garage that can do it for £120, is it worth getting done comepared to standard springs yeah? they are sitting on my bed waiting to be fitted.
so basically uprate my dampers aswell?
cheers chaps, chris
does anyone know if these came with different suspension than the 1.2's etc? and are the springs any lower.
i phoned up about getting my eibachs fitted and the chap said my car already has a "sports package" and eibachs wouldnt make a hoot of a difference. its a 2004 clio 1.6 dynamique if...
that is delightful. any more pics of this ?
here is mine on 16" supert's, doesnt look half as good as that though. i dont think it sits too high , although i am lowering it within the next couple of weeks.
im very interested in this also...
they are here http://www.cgcarsleicester.co.uk/products.html , thats Carls company i think.
just need to know if they are the correct fitment for the clio.
nothing, he told me to get on my way and try them on my car. he did say before he did it that it might not work, but i told him to go ahead anyway.
as plummer said, the hubcentric lip broke off :dapprove:
any links to these? cant see any. cheers
i took them to that place down near you, forrest precision engineering, the chap took just less than 3mm off, and then i got home and broke them :(
what part is the hub flange? is this on the hub, or on the spacer? and what is the reason behind having to do it ?
and they broke whilst fitting them :( .
they were hubcentric 15mm ones....wanted to shave a couple mm off them so stop my wheels hitting the arch......but i failed:dapprove:.
what is the smallest size of hubcentrics available as ideally thats what i want? links would be good if possible...
welcome to CS:D
colourcoding isnt too expensive, i got my trim colourcoded (ph2 though), which included door handles, bump strips down the sides, front and rear bumpers, for £220.
sorry of this is in the wrong section!
im looking for a machinist in the Glasgow area that would be ably to machine my rear spacers on my car?
if anyone knows of any please do let me know.
cheers Chris
there is a black gold 182 i see all the time aswell **** AKP. lowered. looks the nuts.
i saw your spotted thread for my car in s-burn, with the picture, doesnt do it any justice haha :P looks awful. once i find a machinist to do my spacers....getting lowered.
just noticed this thread!! thats the usual spot, means i can only get a ding in one door, unless someone goes straight into the side :P .
driving like a champ - whereabouts in east kilbride?
I am after 10mm Hubcentric spacers for my clio. I currently have 15mm on the rear, howvever have a bit of rubbing.
Anyone know where i can get these? They have to be hubcentric.
Cheers Chris
