Basically I hit a rather large muddy puddle (it was like a flood) that I didn't see at around 25-30mph. I braked just before it hit but a lot of water splashed up, and also covered my bonnet! After, there was a lot of steam coming from the engine. The engine itself wasn't actually wet by some...
Where will it be stored then - on the driveway? How long a time are we talking?
Plenty of info in here:

I'm glad it's been of some use, I couldn't bear the smell of wet carpets any longer! I think I went a bit OTT with the silicone on mine, but it certainly hasn't happened since :) thanks again @JamesBryan
Thanks for reading and the response - I've just realised how long the post actually is!
I did go to the police station straight away but they basically told me there's nothing they can (nothing they will) do and just to claim off my insurance. They said all I'll need are his name and phone...
So on these photos, the van = red, me = blue + Audi = green.
There are 2 lanes for bearing left on the slip road thing. We were all in the left lane on the dual carriageway, and all wanted to use the slip road pictured which has the 2 lanes. Van was tailgating me up the road for a couple of...
Loads of screws to hold the Skoda one then cut off the end with a sharp knife. Job done. Or pay over 10x the price for a Cup splitter and it'll smash into bits as soon as you touch a kerb.
It's been done many a time on here. A like for like replacement should be a piece of cake! I'm sure you need the new engine's ECU/keys etc. but honestly I have no idea what exactly is involved, hopefully someone will be along to advise :)
I've been over it a few times but there are conflicting opinions throughout!
After a bit of research it seems that a new/different master cylinder is recommended. Is this required/will there be a big difference, or are they fine with just the discs, pads, calipers, lines and brackets?
I was looking at the Pure Motorsport brackets as they say they give better clearance. Do you think they'd work with my Trophy Turinis if they clear the Cup ones quite well? Or is it a gamble? I want this conversion but don't want to have to buy new wheels :( and stay clear of spacers if I can.
Do you mean the extra end bit that slots onto the centre section - to make the Milltek system compatable with the standard cat olive join?
It does come off, but it'll be seized on. I chucked mine as soon as it arrived. I expect mole grips and a lot of twisting will loosen it up, then it should...
Good stuff! As a final question, which brackets did you use? I just need to find some calipers now. I'm gutted I missed out on those that your mate was selling :(
Will Cup Turinis still need spacers then (2mm difference?), say 5mm on Cup Turinis and they're clear? I want these but don't want to start messing about really. Also, them Budweg calipers are never in stock now... does anyone know the cheapest place to get a pair (new/refurbed)?
Mint condition inside and out. Apex springs, decat but otherwise standard.
Oh, and in a foot of snow by the time we got there. It took me 2 tries to get up his street! Test drove it in the snow. Left it at the bottom of his road, then my mate drove it home. Haha. :)
