are you putting the foot down when its cold, and not heated up fully??

thats the stuff i used to pour into my old landrover...just cos it was the cheapest i could get...(it used to piss oil) tbh tho, that engine had about 12 diff kinds of oil in it...could have ran on mud tbh..

i just used urine... waters scarce up here in scotland...thats why we all have black necks an reek of pish... btw i'd add a disclaimer to that...someone might ACTUALLY do it..

sounds like your battery disconected??? never had that error code before...and ive had lots... one time it told me the temperature was too warm?? wtf..? and it turned off?

i thought they where completely different aswell, the diesel one comes in a brown bottle, petrol in a silver.... so i assumed completely different...? detergent you say?? might give the clio engine a wee clean out, stick a bottle in..;) ive learned something new today..!

im assuming there is a 10w40 diesel and a 10w40 petrol.. would their be no difference??

you shouldnt need a new battery imo... mines was nackered after being left for almost a year... charged it up...left it running for a while...bit shakey for the first week...but after being driven about a lot..it seemed to have charged itself back up again.. no problems

always wondered this.. say someone put 10w 40 (diesel one) into their clio...what would actually happen?? im taking it that, seals might corrode faster etc.. i know one of the oils is thicker...? does putting petrol engine oil in a diesel engine destroy it??

2 obvious things... u do have water in the bottle?? its not cold outside..? (water frozen) try giving the tubes a squeeze..

few hours might not be long enough...try longer...altho surely it should have started with a jump from another car...
