Yeah I agree with the fact it is ALS that makes rally cars pop and flame...
Here is an excellent explanation of it.. http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8634http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8634
And heres some Videos, the first one has ALS and...
I saw him on the trailer for the week afters show when I watched it. He was moaning his car was too low and might get damaged or something! Pussy, drive it the way it was ment to be! lol
Did you see what was on next weeks show? Might tape it...
I saw it last week, random channel 254 or something! lol
Had a guy in a Renault 21 Turbo trying to do a spin thingy between 2 cones trial styleeeeeee....
For the money he spent converting his valver he may as well of bought a Willy and had a load of change left over ;)
Rhys..... this happened to my mate Johns Scooby, he lost his locking wheel nut tool thingy.
First off I would try whacking in a normal socket with a hammer and see if it wedges, then get turning..... Failing that try and weld something to the nut so you can get some leverage.
Failing that...
Before the police get him Id arrange a special bit of retribution first if I was you, get someone else to do it so they cant point the finger at you ;)

One problem with the Focus RS IMO...... its got too much power to be a FWD car! They should of made it RWD or 4WD. I suppose the 4WD will be the Focus Cosworth if/when it is ever made....
Obviousaly Ive never driven one, but I imagine it mush have a certain degree of tourqe steer??????

If you ring round insurence companies you will be surpirised how much it will cost you. Eventually somebody out there will insure you for a half decent price!
You cant beat the kick of a Cossie when it comes on boost ;)

Ive got a video of him racing a Porsche on a duel carrageway, and it just leaves it for dead, and he hardly revs it in any gear hes in. His engine whilst it has incredible BHP, is designed to be more tourqey than anything

Yes you will quite easily see pre 1990 Saph Cossies going for 5k plus. There are a few stuck away in garages in fantastic condition, that only come out on the odd sunny weekend, owned by enthusiasts that can afford to drive and insure a third car only a few times a year. I remember as four star...

Simon, your making a few sweeping generalisations there, Ive spent the last few months looking into them seriousally as my next car.
Remember a typical 2wd Spah is now 13 years old. I think you will find ANY 13yr old car driven regularly will have more than average instences of things going...

New car for me is a RWD Saph Cossie, hopefully getting one in Jan/Feb if I can find a nice one!
Chuck it on a Stage 3 and hardly anything will touch it....
