Im lowered 60mm, the wheels sit perfect in the arches now. I think any less than 60mm would still look a bit jacked up, the dowside is as you say - it bounces round a bit and if you run over a bit of gravel you risk spine injury.
I like the K-tec Kombat bumper - looks smart as fook.

If you put your and over the fron you will see that it is probably a photochop of the current car.
Heres what I thought the next Clio was:

The offsets for Mk1 and Mk2 172 alloys are different, I think the 15" Mk1 alloys would be a closer match for a 1.2.
Mk1 172 offset: 43
Mk2 172 offset: 48
I have Mk2 172 alloys on my 1.2, and needed 5mm spacers on the back wheels to stop them rubbing. That 5mm would make the wheels the...
I have just done mine with a mate in work, took us around 2 hours and we never had a clue what we were doing before we started - followed the Cliosport guide - easy as.

Hopefully a quick question, if I get my car lowered (60mm PI springs) then I should have better handling according to what Ive read on here.
But what is meant by better handling, is it just better grip and less roll?
Ive got Toyos, they are good when its dry, and arent that bad in the wet - theyre not dangerous or owt, just not as good as rival tyres - but then they are cheaper than most other brands.
Im happy with them on my 1.2, and would probably buy them again when these have worn out (Ive read...
I think you can take your car back any time, thats what my dealer told me when I bought mine the other year.
I dont know for sure - but reckon youll be a bit out of pocket. My cousin has just traded his Corsa in early and reckons he still owes them at least £1.5k in finance, I think he only...
From what Ive read iirc:
1. If you pull the badges off (I take it you mean the Clio badge on the bootlid) you will be left will 2 small holes on the panel.
2. The side bumpstrips are meant to slide off - with a bit of force. The front door strips slide backwards, the rear quarter panel...
Had a mk1 1.2 Clio for about 4 months, hated it after a week of driving. Spent the rest of the 4 months saving money for the deposit on my current car.
