hi everyone tried the toothbrush with metal polish and did not seem to move anything tried sme polish and again moved very little what can i do guys the car is nearly 6 years old and i dont think they have ever been treated properly cheers many thanks

looks mint buddy wishing i picked up my 52 plate red mk2 172 when i was going for one but it got sold within 2 hours of putting on auto trader....any engine bay shots mate

i know mate just dont know how to fo it and dont have the time cos i need the car every single day so i cant quickly take things apart and work on through the week wish i bloody could though....i am thinking that red may look the best with the other mods mentioned but i really dont know...anyone...

cheers guys thanks for your comments so far my filter looks pretty clean but should i spray some wd40 into it for lubrication as this is all i have at the moment until i get a proper cleaning kit many thanks cheers..so you dont have to take the filter out of the housing then to clean??

hi guys how do you clean the filter in the bmc cda cheers? also has anyone got a good clear engine bay picture of it fitted to there 172 so i can compare when i fit mine cheers again

hi guys having learnt the hard way about too much water in the engine he he is a wet damp cloth best way to work of the cleaner once applied with a brush
