No mate, worth it? Would that fit in as a cleaner before Blackhole or instead of it? I'm quite tempted to try Amigo as well after everyone's been raving about it!
Aye, they've been pretty slow at processing orders for quite some time now unfortunately. I never found it a massive issue as I tend to stock up once in a while with no urgency but, in such a competitive market, it's noticeable when other companies are so much quicker at getting orders with the...
I'm inclined to agree with the above mate. It would be great to see it finished but your life is getting busier and more 'stretched' which makes it unlikely.
I love VX220's...
I've just been given one of these for my birthday, with a Ferrari 360, Aston Vantage, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche and Audi R8. Can't wait!
Track options are Prestwold Hall or Long Marston - any idea which is better?
Aye, probably better off buying one and then, if you really won't use it again, selling it on. They hold their value pretty well as they always seem to be in demand.
Not sealed I don't think mate, I picked the car up a few weeks ago and whilst it's obviously been cared for, I doubt the previous owner went to those lengths.
Plan is a good clean and decontamination and then probably just a few layers of Werkstat Acrylic as that's what I have in abundance!
Sorry mate, meant plain old car shampoo (AF Lather) which I just use to clean the wheels at the moment. Is it worth getting a specific wheel cleaner and, if so, which one?
Probably a stupidly obvious question, but is it worth getting a wheel cleaner like Bilberry instead of using generic shampoo, even if my wheels are pretty mint?
Didn't I read a write-up recently that didn't really rate the Iron X spray and soap gel? Didn't negate the need for using Iron X separately afterwards anyway.
Doesn't need much time to 'cure' but it needs a lot of elbow grease on tougher marks. Work a bit of SRP over a square foot of bodywork with reasonable pressure (you don't want the panels bending!) for quite a while. It's certainly not a wipe on and off product unfortunately.
For noticeable...
AF Tough Coat can be used over Tripple instead of the wax mate. Won't get quite the same 'wow' factor but it will still show the paintwork off in a good light.
That's what I thought; you'll have to really work the SRP to get it to correct. You'd be better off using something like P1 if correction is needed instead of just filling.
Aye, you only need to do it when the paint needs it which is going to be every 6 months or so. Same with polishing really.
As long as you're washing fairly frequently and topping up a good layer of wax, you shouldn't need to do anything else on a regular basis.
With the wheels, wax them too...
