That seems completely logical doesnt it matteh, nice one.... also i just checked all coils again this evening and all fine... slowly lifted them all out 1 at a time with engine on caused blatent misfires and could hear them sparking on each cylinder, once each one was...
As above - need to know the pins for the water temp and the rev counter please...
In the fuse box there is a white plastic block, if any one has a diagram for this then that would be great!
For a 172 cup please - any 172/182 should do i think

Woah - what a day - up at 4:30am didn't get home until almost 11pm...
Well - it was a day of highs and lows.... long story short, car is ALMOST done.. but have driven it when it was fully mapped and problem free and it was just ridiculous, an absolute animal!!!... but...
2nd that..... mine was fine.... early days but no problems suspension or brakes wise... brakes had built up a lot of crap on them but that soon went after a few minutes of braking...

yeh thats right Foxy, its MS designs, cheers yeh ill keep it on... ah well, time to hit the sack for a few hours before going to pick up the car and put her on the road - feel like a kid on christmas eve!... touch wood its all good and then goes through its MOT without too...
Dan mine was sat for about the same amount of time, just recently been converted.. admittedly i wont have any issues with engine as it no longer has a renault engine but tomorrow is the time when it will be on the road for the 1st time in years so will let you know how the bakes, suspension hold...

Cheers Jase - yeh somedays i likeit somedays i dont.. Never mind.. Apparently exhaust is all done, ready to be picked up tomorrow morning for its first proper drive to its MOT station

viva: thanks mate - no ive not used them before but its the only place i could find nearby (12 miles) that actually made custom exhausts.. The experience so far has been top class i must admit, very good bunch of lads, but of course the proof is in the pudding later this...

Bit of a long overdue update
Well this morning she is going to Edge Performance in Aldershot to finally get the downpipe made and connected to the BTB exhaust.. they will need it for a couple of days, then Saturday its in for its MOT, and then tuesday i am driving her...

Hi ya - Wanting to blacken my clio's intercooler this weekend - silly Q i know but what would be the best spray to use?.. Concerned as i dont want to use anything which keeps it insulated in anyway from the cold air
OK dan cheers for that... what i'll do is put shielding over the brake lines and gear linkages.. the gear linkages will virtually be touching the down pipe thats all...
I'll also get the custom down pipe wrapped, hopefully that will be sufficient... i suppose its not like its going to be...
Thanks Dan - yeh had a look at those. Tell me if this is right or not as im fairly new with FI, but i was worried about wrapping the turbo itself AND the manifold as the high temps might crack the standard k04 manifold?.. I had planned to only wrap the downpipe....

going through doing all the finishing touches to my clio TT project and im on to protecting the brake lines that run along the back of the engine bay AND the gear selectors which will run very close to the downpipe.
Any idea which exhaust wrap to go for?.. i ideally would like some...
Cheers harey - And yeh i know what you mean Gaz, im in 2 minds, but with the amount ive spent on my car recently £200s a fair bit, but £40 and a bit of elbow grease seems much better....
