Is that right? 13k miles?
Light coming on when 1/4 still in the tank is a common problem. I used to have this on my old 172 mk1 and was down to the sender in the fuel tank sticking I beleive. Once you put more petrol in it clears the light and sometimes was as normal and would go down to the usual mark where it's...
lol, theres more damage there than bumper and rear light. I reckon the back panel is shafted along with the boot floor and the rear quarter looks creased.
I've emailed them about it to see what they say. Only 48k miles though.
It's hard not to butcher a roof skin up when removing it, let alone trying your best to save it so it goes on another car.
If it were me I'd just look at brand new ones, whether genuine or spurious.
Can you not just put up with a sunroof?
yea as fm says.
Its all spot welded in. Just means drilling them out and using a hammer and chisel to remove the skin.
I wouldnt charge much less than a bodyshop would to be honest. It's not a small job.
Your roof could completely distort if a new panel was welded in place. As said above, go for a complete new roof skin.
If you pay me a nice wod of cash i'd come and do it for you.
