    CHEAP R888's!

Has anyone used that company in the past?

    Good Deal?

Pop to an independant garage on a Friday afternoon/Saturday morning. More than likely they will fit them for you for £20 cash.

    Great looking, cheap bucket seats.

Take your rears out and leave them along with your parcel shelf at home and you should have no trouble getting them in the back.

    Such an ugly wheel IMO.

    Do we need new reps?

You can have the most dedicated reps in the world, but unless people really want to attend a meet you'll struggle to persuade people to go. As mentioned, those that are keen need to start a thread, with a date and a location within the title and see what happens. It's always the 'where/when?!'...

    Wheels Coming Loose on Track

Do you have a pretty substantial, space framed 205 in your collection Cameron?

Where do I stand? Damaged calliper.

I suppose a lot of customers wouldn't notice or worry so some mechanics don't concern themselves about superficial damage if it rarely comes back as a complaint. I was in a Ford workshop last week watching a chap working, and he lifted a Focus headlight out, laid it lense down on the top of...

*Gauging interest* Test Track Day, Haynes Motor Museum

Plus at Llandow you can have more than one car out at a time, thus allowing you to go on and off as many times as you like without affecting anyone else. For that reason I wouldn't be interested if it was 20 minute stints each as it wouldn't be worth it.

Drilling out front disc torx bolts..

You could hit the disc with a hammer without even attempting to remove/drill and it would just shear the head of the torx screw off - but I wouldn't recommend brute force where it isn't strictly neccesary. I can't see your image on this PC but once the head is drilled off you can remove the...

*Gauging interest* Test Track Day, Haynes Motor Museum

I'd be interested, but not at £76 for the seat time you'd get compared to that of waiting for the other 14 to have their stints.

My last French car show, lets hear what you thought.

I didn't bother this year because I thought exactly the same when I went last year. At £23/£24 a ticket with postage taken into account it makes it around twice the price of the early bird Action Day tickets - for a show with half as much to see. Combe car park attendants do always appear to...

    Caliper removal clio 172 cup

Pop the caliper in a vice and knock the handbrake cable end through it. Presumably Big Redd loosen the nipples off calipers before refurbing them, as you'd hate to get them back and have bad luck shearing them. If you've left the glove on the end, it's probably melted through it by now...

    My home internet password?

Are you still no better off than you were 5 hours ago, or have you made no progress whatsoever? Just think what you could achieve in 5 hours. It's a long time, especially to be frustrated for that long. Day wasted?

    Harness Eye Bolts

JJC are well priced for those. If you go for a 5/6 point harness, pop a hole through the floor and use a spreader plate underneath.

    Am I getting screwed?

I was in a similar position Steve. I hardly used my phone at all, yet they still insisted on a large buffer within the direct debit to cover any calls I may use. I think my package was £34 ish yet they took around £50 each month iirc. Annoyingly when they sent the quarterly statements, they...

    Jokers on ebay!

Where are you based BIG WILSON? Even £60 is overpriced for a door IMO. As you've probably noticed the drivers door I have is keyed but I'd do you a cracking deal on the pass side if you are local enough to collect.

    Well this sucks..... (Vacuums)

I've a Hetty. Knock the Turbo button on and you'll be reet. Mrs uses it for hoovering the floors, I use it for cleaning up after building work. It loves it.

Castle Combe Spring Performance Action Day

Out of all the action days I've been to (several) - there were less incidents than usual IMO. I would say that's mostly down to people appreciating it was damp.

172 Cup gearbox fitted to 182 Cup

I've someone interested in my 172 Cup gearbox - to go in their 182 Cup. I've read conflicting information, and want to be able to correctly advise the buyer and not sell something not fit for purpose with speedo issues. I read the following: A 172 Cup gearbox will fit any mk2 RS 1*2, the...
