Just a few teaser pics ;)
I am now just painting the spoiler and door mouldings as we speak then later this afternoon/evening once their dry I can get it all built up and polished in the garage. Cant wait just to see it finished! Its been a long and hard 5-6weeks!
I am thinking about a yozza system tbh. Either that or a recessed system cut into the bumper, maybe a slash tip? Il have to have a look around.
I have just been playing around with the car inside the garage today as I cant pull it out because of the snow, so I havnt managed to get any more...
yup :)
Just polished the whole car today, flatted and buffed the wings, bonnet and bumpers and gave the full car another quick once over, Ive even amazed myself with the finish on the paintwork! Looks stunning!
Magnex 6x4
Wanna buy it! :D lol
Yeah its looks ok but it will look nicer with black mesh in, you will still clearly see the intercooler etc but it will hide the ugly bits at the side of it!
Took one about an hour ago but its on my iPhone so its crap quality! The bonnet was on then too, its needs lining up yet though, as you can prob see its a little bit out:
The bumpers, wings and wheel arch liners are now on. I decided to fill the washer jet holes in the front bumper - Looks sooo much smoother! I have painted the bonnet today and tomorrow im going to crack on with the doors and tailgate so hopefully should be done by next weekend. Im going to get...
Traction ain't an issue when you hve decent tyres and you learn how to drive it with the power delivery!
I have got more than 20mpg, I've got like 30mpg before out of a tank but I hve never driven as slow on my life, 5th gear everywhere and driving at 20-30mph everywhere! In the real world I...
That was mine, it wasn't dry, it wad damp with very very bald proxes on the front! LSD isn't really needed but obviously would help! Deffo not an essential though!
If you read my project thread in the projects section you will find every piece of info in there, costs, mpg, races with bigger...
Grip is suprisingly good! Not much spin at all with good tyres on, not much more spin than a standard 1*2.
Also I have a video of my car vs a SC Lotus exige, 0-100 there is nothing in it then we slow down! I was very suprised!
Tbh I've never seen your car before! Only White clio I've seen is laxys and I would of painted it White even if there wasn't another one, nobodys car has influenced me whatsoever, I've always loved White cars, I had a White supra, astra gsi, rx7, glanza and now a White Clio, White is the way...
Why the hell are people saying that charged clios are only good for road use! What the hell! I know of 2 charged track weapons and I bet they both destroy alot of quick cars on the track!
As for the comment about an ITB Clio been as quick as a scooby the answer in most cases would be yes...
Fuel economy with SC =W**K!
I usually return between about 8 and 20mpg depending on how it's driven. Ha, still well worth it though! But if economy is on your mind, forget both options tbh!
Nice job! You didnt need to primer them though unless you went down to bare metal?! Tbh I would of just grey scotched them and cleaned them up then gone over the top of their finish in clear 2k Laquer, alot less work!
If you look at the first page of my thread and read the first post all the details of the supercharger and the company who did it is on there ;)
Im making some good progress on the car this week, really want it done and built back up by sunday night. I painted the wings on monday, I then...
