i picasa it takes 1 click to download from my camera and store them in a dated folder, 1 click to open them in photoshop, and 1 click to upload them to a web album! love the easyness! as well as you can select the size you want to upload, add tags to photos for googlemaps, make them private (3...
How about a stickied threads where we review what cameras we have got, how much we paid, and so on? I dont know much about nikons in general, but would be happy to do a write up on D40 and D70
^^^I have searched! but noone had mentioned that tripod, and most wernt at jessops!
Ok so really its not sturdy enough, ok perhaps i will go for one of the higher models, just liked it because it was half price :P
Going to Jessops in a lil while to buy a tripod! anything anyone recommends? its for my D40! Would prefer somthing compact, but as well i want it to be tall enough to be used sensibly! what is a good height?

Ok ill keep trying :P

How secure are flickr pics are they all public?
What ones do you use? rate? whats better and why?
I looked at flickr and started using picasa, as you get 1gb free, and its Google! and personally i like anything done by google, but havent tried flickr, and seeing everyone talk about it on here i thought i might be missing out!!
Yes it is a good selection! i only have the 18-55 wish i had the other one! the F rating on the tamron is a bit high compared to the Nikon equivalent, can you get it with the nikon 55-200 or the nikon 70-300 VR???
I just bought a D40 as my first SLR and i am absolutely chuffed to bits with it! only flaw is lack of lenses but tbh as ukaskew said i think all camera companies are going to go this way as they can make the cameras smaller and lighter! and tbh, if your a beginner your not going to have a lense...
