Being a niche model with the mileage, I think being a little more thorough with the service history (Cambelt, Waterpump etc?) would be of benefit.
Mix and match tyres, wheels needing a refurb, no xenons or nav etc.. I know of a very well specced ED30 locally with similar mileage for £8500 and...
Oh I can certainly imagine. I hated my EP3 within days of owning it - Genuinely felt like it had the dynamics of a brick.
An old friend of mine many years ago had a fettled DC5 and some serious balls to go with it... I'd never been so terrified/impressed with how capable it was, in the right hands.
I'm glad Vodafail have finally been stung - b******s left a few marks on my Credit Report.
I'd been with them for 8+ years and at the start of the year decided enough was enough with the shocking coverage.
I'd agreed and paid up the cancellation fee, attained my PUK code and moved over to EE =...
OK I've done some digging on XYB.
The current seller bought it off the lad from Ipswich a few months ago for the grand sum of £500... Sounds about right.
Yeah Scott bought it from me and a few people spotted it shortly after being ragged everywhere 😂
I had a chap called Thomas from Ipswich contact me on facebook in April.. He wanted to try restore it, which lasted about a month before he punted it on.
That would be awesome, however.. Its not worth anywhere near its current asking price.
I paid £800 for it the 2nd time round (2013) and it looks like its been nicely battered since.. undoing all the work I'd put into it.
I poked a couple questions towards the seller.
Bugs me when people suggest the mileage the belts were done and not the time.
I was interested until I found it the belts are due on this one.. Doubtful negotiation on the price also.
Its a massive shame mate.
I can only assume once the owner after me abused it and sold it, it was raped for parts and left like it is now.
£1350? Pff! I sold it like the above condition for £2000!
Well, I've owned this twice over the years and it was an absolute belter of a car, I'd spent a fortune on it (Twice) getting it up to the standard I like and every now and then I spot it up for sale..in different states of tune/form.
Everytime I see it, It's been fiddled with again and again...
Hmm a test drive would sort my concerns although the car isn't local lol.
If you had an option to switch to a proper manual and traffic wasn't a concern, what would you take?
That sounds quite loud, in a good way.
I'm liking these at the moment and have spotted a nice one but... I've never had an Auto and that worries me that I'll hate it.
I know what you mean 10000% but its much the point @MarkCup made after that is the issue.
I'd look at it come selling time (if owned) and know that people would be expecting Audi and only Audi stamps.
I remember getting the ST serviced by Ford last year - £119 all in which was Oil, Filter &...
I'm not sure if I bought a brand new car, an RS3 at that, that I'd want to take it to a specialist at this point of its life.
For just an Oil & Filter, Audi's pricing is a joke but thats part and parcel with having an RS model I suppose.
I'm sure you could barter off a couple dealers off...
I know their a little mundane in a game like this but no new Civic Type R? Focus RS? Megane RS275?
Seems like a Gran Turismo scenario with the odd new model included?
