ukaskew there is a third option, become part of the team at asphaltassault.co.uk, get media access but shoot for yourself ie no pressures for editors / deadlines etc. :)
cheers nick, probably wont get a chance to upload them til sat, i started my new job today so its good bye to all my free...
awesome stuff buddy. i need to chase up my media pass for the drift event at silverstone this sat, as although i have been granted one they still havent sent me any details about deposits for tabbards/ media parking/ sign on times etc
how much did the belt set you back mate, as if they are silly money you might want to look at airsoft / army surplus stuff

yeah mate, or you can give it a bash yourself first as diy it would only cost like £30 where as a body shop could charge anywhere up to £200.
sign up to full membership mate there are a few guides regarding painting plastic body trim parts
they just painted the parts mate, obviously you need to sand out / flat back any texture on the bump strips, so you get a smooth finish. then 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, 3 coats of laquer. job done
I randomly found this and thought it might be of interest to some people on here, especially those who are just getting into photography. its not a bad site to be honest

cracking work as always buddy, liking the airsoft stuff too, i used to run a team a few years back and we did quite well, got sponsored by a hong kong retailer (its mental over there they have like 5 streets of just airsoft shops although i wouldnt recommend trying to bring them back in your...
if you shoot in RAW you dont have to worry about white balance. A trick which a lot of studio based photographers do (mainly product, still life and sometimes fashion) is to use an 18% grey card. Say you are shooting a coke bottle with studio lights, the 1st shot of your batch would have the...
whitebalance:
Again this goes back to film, basically each type of light source produces a different colour cast (however the human eye adjust so quickly you dont notice it) some have a cool blue tint others have an orange tint etc. when using film you would either buy specific film for the...
photoshop
filter>distort>spherize
then new layer, fill it black and remove a circle in it.
job done, probably only looks just as bads as one of those cheapo filters
iso has basically come from film cameras mate, in the days of 35mm slrs etc, to be able to shoot in crap weather you would use a film which is more sensitive to light (the downside being higher grain). changing the iso on a digital camera has the same effect, it enables the sensor to be more...
exposure is basically made up of three elements, the amount of light allowed into the lens (aperture) the amount of time the light is projected on to the film/sensor (shutter speed) and the sensitivity of the film/ sensor (iso). it is the balance of all three of theses elements which will...
^^ this man is correct, my car is gris boreal (632). although there are different shades of 632 as well so to get a decent match i sent off the bit of trim you remove for a roof rack.
you jammy bugger lol press pass ftw its not everyday you get to do tracking pics on circuit of the whole BTCC pack. im properly jealous lol
awesome shots though buddy.
here is the real version, as my bro painted mine off my mk2 ph2 bumper only to discover that the mk2 ph3 inserts are very slightly different. so i had a gloss black bump strip while my standard bumper was on as the 182 bumper was being resprayed
i think it depends if its a 172 or 182, as on my rep my dynamique fogs went in no problem on a 182 front bumper. the reason i think they maybe different is i recently swapped my rear bumper from a 182 to 172 bumper and although the general shape of the number plate light is the same the fixing...
decided to get the rig out today for a quick play for the first time since last summer, i really need to get some proper suction mounts as its really restrictive as to where i can mount it on the car. was quite pleased with the final result though, just wished there was more stuff in background/...
wow you can definately see the difference they look really 'clean' if thats the correct word lol. also i bet you are glad you dont have to put up with the zoom creep now which is terrible on the 28-135, well is on mine anyway
wow serious bumpage :S
im not sure mate, i think i found them here http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/ as they do a lot of euro rims
nah not doing it any more, is an old thread mate
you will probably find manual mode is best mate, that way you can set the shutter speed for as long as you want then adjust the aperture as required for the exposure, also shoot on as low an ISO as possible to reduce noise
very nice buddy get that peak shot done as a poster print from photobox, i think its only like £17.82 for an 30"x20" meaning you can get two 10"x 30" panoramic prints one the one print. i have done the same and have this one sitting on my wall
did you go near the space museum,i got my first...
good effort mate, for the light graffiti images use manual focus and find a point to focus on (normally if its dark then a mate holding a torch is a good bet) then when you do you graffiti do it in the same place then you will get it nice a sharp. Also use a decent tripod with self time to try...
