it is a good camera but im still very much getting to grips with it as its along way away from things like the 40d in terms of menu systems, focus settings etc. meaning it takes longer to get the best out of it. the only bad thing i have noticed about it is the full AF mode (there are like 6...
I hope this isnt a repost, i did a search but couldnt find so anyways check out this vid. Got to say the im impressed with how the clio sticks to the RS in the twisties

i wouldnt worry about it not being IS especially if you are using it for motorsport as although the IS version has a second IS mode for moving subjects sometimes it can still be counter productive whilst panning as you are almost fighting against it. My lens is a non IS version. the lens is so...
i picked mine up for £300 (which was cheap at that time it was normally £350+), but that was a while ago price have gone up since then although may have come back down a bit. Its an awesome lens, i use it with a kenko DG x1.4 teleconvertor which is just as good quality as the canon convertor but...
yeah elements will do you fine although you might want to check it has the photomerge function. Also have a look on t'internet for PS plug-ins there are some quite good ones out there. The tiffen digital photo filters are quite cool.
there was some dodgy website called softsalez which my dad used a few times and you could pick up PS for £16, looks like it has been closed down now though
haha awesome, i loved HK was amazing and the view from victoria peak is stunning.
did you go up there during the evening too. we went up at about 5pm and had something to eat up there so we could see it in day and night. Must have been about 6 years ago i went now, definately want to go back...
as pete said the photomerge function can be awesome
this is like a 5 image stitch i took on my dads point and shoot ixus in hong kong a few years ago. got a print about 1 metre long on my wall :)
and if you are looking at this for wide angle stuff and dont want a fisheye style ring i wouldnt bother to. as to zoom in enough not to get heavy vignetting means its not actually that wide. best off with a proper wide angle lens even a kit 18-55mm lens is probably more favourable than this
here are the settings you used mate:

how old are you, if you are 19 or old then try brentacre they are a mod friendly insurance company. you can have unlimited cosmetic mods (this includes lowering, wheels etc), and performances mods of up tp +10bhp (so full exhaust system, induction kit etc), you can have more if you pay for a...
Just a few snaps from a few weekends ago, all shot on my old 10d mainly with a 50mm f1.8 as it was so dark. not the best pics but give you guys an idea as to some of the stuff that is there. i have to say that the way this is advertised over places like the haynes motor museum i was a little...
yep thats the place mate, the field is pretty close to my house, there are like 100 of them that appear there every 6 months or so. i wouldnt be surprised if they get shipped off to france as burgers to be honest :(
^^ cheers buddy was thinking the same.
the reason i went for the 7d over the 5dmk2 was that i shoot a reasonable amount of motorsport stuff and for me the extra focal length from a crop sensor is an advantage. Also i am moving more into moving image with learning adobe after effects and using...
cheers guys, its been shitty grey drizzle all day, snapped these in the 5 minutes it stopped before the sun went down but they are a bit crap :(, hopefully if the weather is better tomorrow i can try it out properly. the 19 point AF is a bit mental after only having 7 on the 10d lol
nope there arent places that sell it cheaper other than importing it, but then you get import tax so works out the same and is a risk you wont see it. plus there is hardly any stock available. the cheapest price on http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/prod1170.html is £1248 body only, i picked it...
