This is a really good update too! Since I wrote this the UI has changed, and is now a lot easier to navigate.

Don't bother with 6x9's, they're useless.
Buy an active subwoofer with a built in amplifier. Turn on the hi-pass filter on your stereo so no bass goes to your door speakers, this will make them distort/rattle less.

Thanks for looking into this for me. Yes disabled Loopbackcheck and IPv6 the other day, rebooted but it's still not fixed it.
