Go for it! Not seen the TB on these closely but the focus one could be replaced a with Jackson Racing item from the states which done the same job. Just need to be carefull as if you take too much off it'll run at partial throttle all the time.

Same thing is a common mods on the Focus. Only gain is improved throttle responce.

Cheers, Just popped a silenced de-cat onto it last week too, the noise is much improved :) Not much louder till you plat the foot and its a bit deeper! Exhaust light didnt come on initially but the 1st sign of rain its come on and hasnt went away :(

Another small wee update today. Took into the worst of the temp wheels last night and got it all sanded down in about an hour, the kerbing wasnt all that bad and most dissappeared with some 80 grit sand paper. Still have to fill some bits in with isopon and sand down to a better finish then...

£50 quid each for Cup shocks for the 182. Is your car very low? pretty much DIY very easy to replace. Couple of spanners and a wratchet should have both shocks changed within an hour provided their not seized.

I had a run in the GT when it was new, but only as a passenger so cannot comment on the drive. I couldnt help feel it was a touch cheap and thrown together inside. Still love how they look from the outside though. Out of the 2 [VTS & GT] I's definatly go for the GT for the manual box...
