Either do I, it also perplexes me that guys who have 03 CTRs go out and shell out for the 04 cars, just because they have to have the latest and greatest!
But if you got the money, its your choice!
"For track use the CTR has gone around Bedford in 1.24 mins"
Where are you getting that time from, its not in any of the EVO mags I have. Thats quicker than a Ferrari 575 M!
I wouldnt go from a 172/Cup to a CTR if I were you, overall I was very dissapointed with the CTR, the novelty of the VTEC wore off pretty quickly, overall just not as fun as the 172 to drive.
Id say the LCR has the slight edge, due to the tuning potential. Another alternative would be a new...
"surly cos it said £11.00 it must be sold at that???"
Youre not serious are you. Something can be labeled at a price, but the owner doesnt have to accept the offer!
Does it come with an immobiliser?
If it does why bother with an alarm, if you were really worried youd fit a tracker or a blackjax system. A whaling alarm doesnt really do the trick!
The same thing happened to my old 172. GLENVARIGILL, DUNFERMLINE scratched my car and didnt own up, in the end I had to compromise and got half of the money it would cost to repair it, off my next service- b******s!!!!
Again, if it aint a UK car it makes NO difference to me, I will still be able to fit a better alarm/tracker system for well under £22K. It would only concern me if I was planning on selling the car in a couple of years, but I aint!
Still, sharpen those bics just in case............;)
The ammount of people buying through these sites isnt enought hurt sales of the V6. These companies are using their fleet buying muscle to get large discounts!
The two cars the Andy had in last month, were both sold at £21,300. The cars were ordered last year. I mentioned to Andy in one of my emails that DriveTheDeal had offered to match the price offered by Motorlogix. This got his back up slightly, he mentioned that he wasnt surpirsed as DTD were...
Get ready with those bic razors then lads!!
I know for sure that Motorlogix source their cars from Renualt Dealers in the UK, got it straight from the Sales Director from Motorlogix!
Cheers
