surely fibreglassing the inside of the box can only improve the sound or not affect it. cant actually make it sound any less gd!

had other advice sayin that i should fibreglass the box and put wadding in! he worked in an ICE shop too. think ill deff fibreglass it, but yea can try it with and without the wadding!

like the alpine type r range. not too expensive but good quality. depends what sort of price range ur comparing them too!

mine has the same scrapping problem too! not sure if id trust kwik fit with my car though!

yea i needed new bolts too, two for each caliper. got mine with the calpiers a bought. as far as the travel on pedal goes i have noticed a bit more travel but not bothering me at all, and the improvement in braking is substantial!!! (well couldnt be any worse than the standard braking!!!).

ive got the alpine type r components, and very pleased with the quality of them for the price. running them off mrv-t303 amp. made pods for them to go in to. Pete

i made some pods for my 17cm components.

go to ascar, they did me a jap style cobra sport back box fitted for 90 quid, sounds awsome on the 1.4rt engine.

spax do them for clio and know u can get them from larkspeed and halfords.

its all gd fun just changing cars from standard though. no one else will have an identicle car to u! but yea know what people mean, having a better starting point is better but as others have said ive spent too much money on my car to now justify selling it.

in interest 16v clio what is the theory behind changing to a GTT? its obviously the other option for me but thinking 16v but for no real reason!. Pete
