I paid £200 for it on just the bumper. ( I have it on the wings too but the guy included that in the price as a favour because he had to cancel my first appointment) I can't say from experience yet as I haven't had it long enough, but it's not supposed to chip or scratch, it's pretty durable...
You can see the edges if you're looking up close, otherwise it's invisible. I'd rather that than have loads of stone chips and pay for re-sparys every year though. It can be taken off at any time without doing any damage.
I've just had my front bumper re-sprayed, plus part of the rear bumper to get out a large chip...was £650! Proper job though, also bearing in mind it's Liquid Yellow. Took them 7 hours and 10 attempts to get the match perfect.
I've just had that Ventureshield fitted on the bumper too as I...
I always use BP Ultimate. There's a garage pretty much at the top of my road so it's handy for me. I'd never get out the tight turning onto a busy road for the local Shell garage because of the turning circle, so I don't bother with that, I didn't think the 182 run that great on Optimax anyway.
I've always done minor modifications to my cars, but only lowering, exhausts and small bits. It makes my car feel a bit more individual even though it's nothing major. I've kept the vee standard though apart from seats. Although I have considered an exhaust for that too, but tbh I'm happy enough...
It does feel weird going back to your old car, I still sometimes drive my old 182 as my boyfriend has it now, and as much as I still love it, I much prefere being in the vee!
