    I don't an issue with it sticking, seeing as you probably did more than one coat of the red and the additional coats would have bonded to the first one.

    If YOU like them, go for it. The main thing that would put me off is the budget tyres with Winter coming up.

    I get about 41-43mpg on my run to Edinburgh and back everyday and have never seen it drop below 30 around town.

    Must be something wrong with your car mate, I used to work in Glasgow and used a ST220 a few days a week and never got 20mpg in start/stop traffic.
