Well as I'm off work with food poisoning/viral infection, and can't be more than 30ft from a toilet, I thought I'd fit this:
It's been sat in my room for a couple of weeks now, so thought it was time. I did try last week without jacking the car an failed. So jacked the car up in the sunshine...
Toyo's on, but might have been too much pressure in. I'll know next time.
And going on an 18% drop because of the type of measuring (at the wheels) it should work out at just over 174bhp ?
Was good to meet some of you guys today, and even better to get my car off the rollers in one piece as well. And even managed a 147 at the wheels (about 174ps) until the front wheels started losing traction. So good day all round
Is anyone using these springs, or has used them ?
If so how did/ do you rate them.
I really can't be bothered to purchase springs/shocks and fit myself, so popped into pure custom in coventry today. And they use and recommend H and R springs. He also gets a good discount on Bilstein shocks as...
A couple of little things done, so simple but make a big difference
New footrest and new washer jets, 2 easy jobs.
I must honestly say this is one of the easiest cars I've ever worked on
Not done much over the weekend as I've been down Skegness with my son for a football tournament, so the car has at least had its first good run. Some lovely roads on the way.
But did get a nice surprise when I came back, as this was waiting for me
Just got to decide where to put the sticker ?
The ride isn't as harsh as the 16's, but that might be because the suspension was raised.
But it's gonna be dropped soon anyway, might even risk coilovers with this car. Never tried them.
Yeah, 17's. I really can't be doing with 15's and 16's seemed small.
I know people are gonna dislike, but I like. And will even better when it's dropped a little bit.
