yes my 172 makes a noise as well, think it might be the belt, only happens when its damp, but is does make a strange noise as well when the car has warmed up a bit, like you when it is idle can hear it, its like a squeal kid a noise. my friend is a mechanic at renault so i will ask him.

its a not bad tyre crap in the wet though they look pretty low on the car though. might try for the toyos next are these a good tyre in the wet?

just got new tyre fitted got falken ze502 cost me £71.95 for everything tube .balancing etc and i still got to buy one more after christmas oh well.

yes i might have to buy a new tyre bloody pothole it scratched a bit if my alloy and has taken a slice of rubber which is still hanging on. The tyre has not gone down but me thinks i still will need to replace it, complained to the council trying to claim for it if i can, waiting to hear there...

yes i asked david at k-tec about the chip said it would increase the bhp by about 10 bhp very similiar to a superchip better torque etc for my mk 1 172 approx price was £150 for chip and about £180 to fit i am very tempted but still want to see if i can get a full remapp this is supposed to be...

yes i have had no problems with mine , i too had a squeaky seat and on cold mornings ocassionally sounds like one of the belts loose but it only lasts a couple of seconds but if the car is ok that your looking at my advice is to go for it.

this looks like the utopia kit k-tec has got the same front valance, dont know if he has got the bit round the fogs, i went down today just purchased the utopia rear spoiler saw all of the kit on the mk 1 172 looks very nice i am going to buy this kit.

is your local unichip dealer millway, i asked about the unichip for mk 1 172 he also said find out engine code and ecu type found the engine code cant find or dont know where to look for ecu type. if you find out can you let me know all the details cheers
