Get the old ICV assembly wrapped in a rag in a vice, and use a hammer and centre punch to gently knock the pins out. Use a couple of nuts/bolts to reattach new one. Make sure O ring is firmly seated whilst coupling.
Clocks are fine (nice trick that)
Must be sensor then. New one is fitted but on closer inspection I can see the top of the top blue o ring in the casing. I've pushed down as hard as I can and tried giving it a few love taps with a 21mm socket but no joy.

Removed oil separator, cleaned up mating faces and resealed with genuine Renault smurf blood sealant. Fresh Fuchs oil and NFJ Gearbox oil going in tomorrow. Pleasant
Just had another look, seem to be in ok, I can feel it go in over both o rings but it doesnt make a really good connecting sound like I'd hope. Pulls out fairly easy too? I've put my body weight on it pushing down but doesn't seem to want to go anymore. The little latches both sides of the part...

I was on motorway and it just dropped and stayed there. For a few days after it would randomly wiggle between home and 20mph, but hasn't done anything for a while now
Read up on some other threads this just pulls out. Been giving it a good tug but no joy. Didn't want to pull any harder without checking I'm doing the right thing here. How hard do you tug yours??
Found the problem yo. Tracked noise to the alternator vibrating against the acc below it (pas/ac) can't remember which one. I have changed the aux belt etc..in the last few months so set about making sure everything was right. Busted out the jubilee clip and tensioned up the tensioner to release...
Oh that sucks balls. Can only hope it's minor. Ill try at get it diagnosed tomorrow at ashford Motorsport.
It only really makes any noise on idle just above 5 on rev counter. Driving in any situation it's fine. Really sounds like something is loose somewhere and rattling as the idle is very...
