I was looking for a new daily after slumming it in a £200 ford Ka. Saw a Cup come up on Copart with a damaged drivers door. Cost me £700 the rest is and or was a blur ?
Ive played this game. Bought all the locking wheel nut removal tools none came close to working. Neither did the socket trick. Ended up searching ebay for a secondhand locking key which was a huge ball ache but found one after about a week.
If you put up a pic of your locking nut i might be...
People are saying £18k is alot for a Clio but i dont think its anywhere near enough for a project like this.

I also pondered steering wheels and seats today. Cant decide whether i need either and or both.
I like the OMP WRC black suede and seatwise i kinda like the Mirco GT in grey.
From personal experience I'd put it down to the joys of French car ownership. If it's not visibly coming from the rocker cover gasket and its def not mayo on the dip stick I'd suggest it could be losing oil through the valve stem oil seals?
worth looking to see if your air intake shows...
Slightly different vehicle but exactly the same symptoms. We had this with a lorry at work it turned out to be a bent/buckled wheel causing the problem.
Just done mine. I got the exhaust cam set perfectly then with the horse shoe put the timing slightly out but when you tighten it up it settles in the right position. I spent a loooooong time before I got it where I was happy but had fun doing it.
