my point was your not going to get the same finish with a rattle can than with powder coat or a gun finish! also with powder coat its all the same colour! with painting then you can do the lettering a different colour!

you wont need to blend the door as its far enough back to keep it in the quarter panel! it may flat and polish???touch up stick is a big no no as silver tends to dry dark so will look worse than the scratch! your prob looking at £200-£300.

Not sure what your cars worth but if you go through insurance the car maybe written off with that damage!some insurance companies only repair upto 65% of the value of the car! think Gally may know more about that!
