lots of peeps will say its pointless but i think it would be wicked to do. differnt and would be VERY fast as the car weighs not alot. would see off 172/182's i would imagen. but as people will say it would be ALOT of money time and work.
i think k-tec do one, well in their catalogue they have it. iv looked into this as well maybe an idea of getting a normal one and getting it polished??
would this be the best set up?
it just i read many people saying IK dont no much else than make extra sound and that the standard airbox is better but when people do get IK they then get told to put a better cold feed to it.
so would it be worth fitting a better cold feed to the standard...
hmmmm i may try painting them other wise il buy some on ebay. is it just a case of sand them down undercoat sandsmooth colour coat say 3 layers sanding inbetween then clear coat?
got my blueflame fitted and it is fookin loud on the mototrway just wondering if its the center section or the backbox that makes the most sound?
i know im a big girl saying its loud just asking out of interest :)
the bens that hill power etc do for fitting indcution kits etc are they worth while fitting tothe stadard airbox or is it just for looks/when you have some money spare??
iv been looking at the 182 manifold matt black on here use to do them for around £250-300 but hes now banned so im not sure if any one has any details to conntact him :s i personnal would think the 182 manifold would be best as long as you know someone to fit it. No one round here will touch...
looks good dan. may have to give you my engine cover to get sprayed up as i dont trust the spray shops round here lol.
hes had the front bumper, bonnet and wings resprayed and the engine cover. Did i miss anything?
looks a very good match, i soooo need to do that. cya soon
bugga, thats not good. well at the mo iv stuck some rubber tube in it at the bottom like a few people have dont but it rattles like its hitting somthing on start up so i guess i need a piece of rubber at the top to stop it from moving
and woohoo! who needs induction kits lol its a loverly sound bit loud as it hits 3k rpm lol but h well its all good. good kit but the exhauast mount (rubber bit on the car) broke so i now need to get a new one. where abouts car i9 get one and are the standard renault good or is there an uprated...
just use an over 19 insurur like adrian flux etc im paying around 1.2k i think at 20 with 2 ync it may be steep but its worth it and a couple of mods declaired
as chris k said i can think of a lot worse way to spend my money. as i see it its more of an identity thing. Like polishing bits in the the engine or colour coding. doesnt make you go faster and takes shite loads of time but some people like to do it.
