forced induction on the standard airbox (172)

would this be the best set up?

it just i read many people saying IK dont no much else than make extra sound and that the standard airbox is better but when people do get IK they then get told to put a better cold feed to it.

so would it be worth fitting a better cold feed to the standard airbox ie from the front bumper etc?

mine run out the box forward left by the battery , down to the fog , then across back to the grill :star:

TBH I wouldn't of thought it would make a great deal of difference, the area where the OE feed takes it's air from is always cool and well away from any sources of heat.
