Had a session on this with my mate last night.
Highlights were carnage on the freeway in a dump truck and putting a couple of bikes in the back of my pickup and taking them up the coastal road for a ride up Mount Chiliad.
Same make as mine except the receivers I have are the same size as the transmitter - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007A2ZEWA/?tag=cliospnet01-21
Claims 20m depending on line of site or 12m indoors. At a guess I've currently got mine about 4-5m from each other I reckon upstairs to downstairs. Have...
Bit late but I use wireless HDMI stuff to beam consoles/PC upstairs/downstairs (2 bed semi). I have Xenta wireless kits which aren't sold new anymore. They look a similar setup to this one on eBay, I've never tried the IR bits for changing channels though...
Last couple of vids done...
Lots of MX5s seem to crop up in this one, and a few Clios (including a loud Mk1)!
This one has me blue flagging my mate who then storms off lol, then an Evo going into the wall. :openmouth:
Mate is bringing his PS4 round later and we're hoping to use the Coop Key to have a session.

Don't really want to end up stuck with a huge...

It turns out I did get the Evo going off into the barrier, found it last night!
Which car were you in to save me looking through your posts for a project thread lol?
Managed to get another and set it up for the rear, went to a soaking wet Oulton on Friday and got some good footage with them. The rear camera died before lunch, tried to charge them both for an hour or so but it wasn't really long enough to get anything worthwhile after that, missed an Evo...
Yeah it's a possibility, not 100% sure it will fit in the GPS case though and having access to the controls/ports might be a struggle. I'll get the lens fixed in the right spot and then look into all that.
The battery is still in there, don't know where to start with figuring out using the GPS...
Was in the garage til 2am last night, messing with my Mobius, lens cable extension and a spare GPS receiver from puntospares...

It's not 100% yet, I could do with dremelling some more of the GPS case away to lift the lens up slightly and...
Lasts a while then!
I've got a track day next week so will be getting it set up for that. The Punto has a fairly redundant SatNav in it, the GPS antennae sits behind the rearview mirror so I'm hoping to get the camera mounted up there tidily.
I assume if I was clever I could run it off the GPS...
