Ended up collecting the PG278QE monitor yesterday. Seems decent although the first thing I did was pull up a white screen and go over it and think I've found a couple of specs of dust in it. They don't seem like dead pixels as I can zoom in on a photo of them and the pixels seem ok, Also seem to...
*Like that future frame rendering stuff in BFV.
I flicked G-Sync on when they "unlocked" it earlier in the year. Have had it on so long I need to turn it off again and double check if it actually made a difference on the cheapy iiyama.
Good to hear!
I think it's still in the lead in my head but will probably wait and think about it a bit more.
Superwide ones had crossed my mind (for spotting more enemies lol) but think I'd need to limit to 1080 there. Do you get much trouble with games not supporting it easily?
Cheers. I was originally ignoring IPS panels aiming for max responsiveness, but did look at a few of the earlier. Found this review which seems to put that LG at the top of the input lag chart https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_tuf_gaming_vg27aq.htm#lag but it seems to have some super...
Trying to decide what to do screen wise and wondering if anyone has any recommendations.
Running a Ryzen 2600X and 1070ti. Currently have a 27" iiyama 1080p 76hz monitor that I bought a couple of years ago to use with my old PC after an older monitor died so there is scope to be seeing a fair...
Can't say I remember that issue on singleplayer, perhaps one of the recent updates has added it? I've had similiar weird moments where I could only run about on multiplayer though iirc, very rare though.
I ended up setting the equipment to the thumb buttons on my mouse which works pretty well...
I've run through them once and then tried to find everything on a couple but even that was annoying as the last tiger (probably the best story) skin didn't even unlock properly.
Coop is the same stupid AI dropped onto the multiplayer maps with random objectives.
Get onto the Pacific multiplayer...
Haha well it was recorded at Dice so i guess cheats weren't enabled lol. To me it's just skill with the amount of time these guys must have under their belts.
His name popped up when I rapid fired someone to death with a pistol a few months back lol, there is a chance for lowly players.
The 6:30 shot to me is more like, sees tracer, sees guy prone far away, aims above him for bullet drop and hits him in the head.
You do really have to lead with players moving fast horizontally, I've been using a lot of the semi auto rifles recently and when you get the lead right and every...
Out on Thursday with 2 maps and Wake Island following in December.
Trying to get the guy we always play PUBG with into it but having no luck even with the free weekends they've just done. As soon as he sees it's not on Steam he's not interested. Noob 😒
Still playing this a lot, the gameplay/general cinematic nature just keeps me hooked despite all the issues it's had/has. Best when shouting down the mic at my brother.
Barely touched Firestorm, infact getting back into the pace of BF has slowly made me much less interested in PUBG experience...
Did end up fiddling some more, obviously not a Clio but might give someone an idea.
I had the brace across the top to stop it wobbling on the single metal upright of the original battery holder so decided the full bracket was kind of pointless. Bent up a piece of aluminium to match the bracket...
I've only started having the charger plugged in the last couple of days to be honest but I've not noticed anything get hot.
If you mean it doesn't sound like it's a smart charger from my comment that the CTek Panel light is blinking green all the time I mean that even if the charger is not...
Asked this when I was buying mine, Green Spark Plug Company got in touch with "their supplier" (Powerlite themselves I guess) - "The charger is a smart charger and turns itself off once it is charged." I'm with you and just want to plug it in without messing around isolating it.
I've hidden a...
I did this, then put the polystyrene type insulation in between the bracing, so the opposite of what you're suggesting (I think I wanted the more white than silver on view...). Got a couple of draught excluders on the top too (inside on the door/outside on the wooden frame), never got round to...
