Right guys, basically we have over budgeted this year on the old consumables budget (by a lot) and as this is an educational establishment it needs to be spent pronto (or we loose it). Our main focus of business is on-line learning and open source solutions.
I'm looking for some useful...
Sounds the same as mine, just bought a new motor, they weren't much (£15 or something), I can dig out the part number if you wanted. Failing that you could try taking yours apart and seeing if you can fix it :)
Forgot to mention K-Tec uprated Engine Mounts and Engine Bushes, takes a bit of getting used to but well worth it imo. Is quite loud inside though with the sports cat and strippage.
Not to all tastes but
Small plate, Tow Eye, OZ ultraleggeras, rear stripped but false floor fitted as it's my daily, bullets colour coded, new seats, sportlines because I'm cheap, (i have a splitter now btw), smoked side indicators, brembo disks, k-tec stealth, sports cat, full detail, new mats ;)
Removing rear seats & belts = win, no seats & belts = can't test seat belts ;) Will just get an advisory, Or PM the guy who stripped his 172 interior http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=508170
I bought that exact package :) Can't fault the pads and the DAS-6, I did however find myself resorting to the Menzerna polish I'd already purchased instead of the Sonus stuff, this wasn't on a Renault however (Toyota Rav4), personally i'd go for this...
They sure do :) I had a problem with water in the spare wheel well so maybe it's the same issue, I didn't leave it there to rust though, lol. In my case it was the rear lights. You can knock up a bit of mdf to fit over the well, just trace over your mat, cut out out, cover in some speaker type...
I guess it depends how and where you drive, I generally don't drive huge distances so there's not much need if I'm 30minutes from home the old man can pop over with one ;) If i did have one i'd probably throw it in for longer trips, but i don't so it's not an issue ;)
muggles ... i'm sure this...
Just a quick update, you may have noticed the lack of rear end shots thus far, that's because I hadn't got around to removing those rear lights (Due to idiotic re-wiring) but finally today this was resolved so here we are.
Also gone a bit more stealth with the bullets :)
I did this originally but it looked a bit naff so i fitted a false floor :) makes the space easier to use imo, the mdf doesn't weigh much, it whips out in 2 mins anyway if needed :) http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=495780
Shocking, nothing enrages me more to be honest, I remember when someone keyed my previous car, I didn't bother reporting the incident though because I knew who had done it (cc tv ftw). I managed to find a suitable yet legal way to seek revenge ;)
This is what I paid for the parts when I had mine done
Gearbox rebuild - £385
Clutch - £117.86
Misc Bolts/Nuts/Washers/GBOil/TieRod - £20.10
Engine Mount - £34.70
Gear Selctor - £36.73
Obviously it depends how bad your box is, mine was ubber shagged (dif failure++)
I'd advise against buying a...
Cheers fellas, slow progress I know but i'll get there. I felt sorry for it looking all chavvy, it had been for sale for a while when i got it (wonder why!) so got a good deal, hehe.
