Love it mate! Mod's.... erm i've actually taken some off :( Insurance and all that! The sportlines are coming off when birchdown can get me in, and the exhaust has developed a blow which i think is coming from the CAt joint, so hopefully a simple fix. Oh and the A/C just don't work at all, so...
:) Welcome to Renault ownership. There full of little niggles. Just had to repair my heatshield with some hosepipe because it had snapped off the mounts! haha
Maybe it's not a fault, but seeing as Renault have a cure for this occurance, one could call it a fault :) Not going to cause any damage to the car so i'm not bothered.
I was reading through the search last week on this problem. It's something to do with a signal sent from the ECU, thinking the car keys are still in the ignition. To clear the fault, ask a renault dealer for the ''RS+15' fix...
How do you check for a faulty wheel bearing? Can you just shake the wheel when the cars jacked up? I think ones gone on my car, coming from one of the front wheels..
Just installing my stalk adapter for the alpine unit. Where i've connected the wiring adapter (3) into the car, it connects to the wire (1) Does anything connect to (2) - the old socket on the back of the clock? When i turn the stereo on, nothing appears on the screen bar the time and outside...
