Yeah I know I need more than 50mm lol. Was planning on 50mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8, and hopefully a 17-55 2.8. Last one depends how much money I have as my mums doubling it for my birthday. Think I'll go with the D700. I can always get a hand grip if I was the bigger body.

Got my 21st coming up in January, and thinking about getting the Nikon D3. It's a big leap from my D40, but I want to start doing some venues and weddings etc. Couple the D3 with a nifty fifty and I should be onto a winner. Your thoughts? Should I do it or get a D8/90 and get some amazing glass?

I'd love one. Got all the functions of a DSLR but it's compact. Can take pictures everywhere where you feel a idiot whipping out a DSLR.

7 is the best, 3 is too much like HDR for my liking. Unless it really reproves the picture in a subtle way I think hdr is a way for people to mask s**t pictures. (not saying that 3 is s**t in anyway)

I have 20mb and love it, but I do a lot of downloading. 2-4mb is good for just browsing the net. The reason why your's drops at night is to do with the ISP splitting it up equally at the busiest times. Fair use an all that. Stop moaning b**ch.

Thank you :) If I had the chance to earn some money from this I definitely would. I would love the chance to be a unofficial photographer at a wedding as it gives the chance to take some really good experimental shots while not have the pressure of the main photographer.

Always good to take a lot of pictures, then pick the best of the best. One of my favorite photographers (Vincent Laforet) shot 28k pictures at the olymipic games just gone. Thats 480GB's worth. Then choose his best. Blog post about it...

I haven't been in many situations where there is pressure on me taking photos, it's normally me, my camera and the subject. Recently I have been know as the photo guy at work and they call upon me to take photos at events etc which I don't mind at all, but when taking photos I'm so nervous...
