^^That's what I was thinking,I mean the engine has got to be jumping around on the mounts abit. But the few times it has done it I always think the gear change isn't as good/feels looser or doesn't feel right. I keep telling myself......it's all in my head!!!;).

^^Dunno,surely not at 8k and like I say I can take it up to 6-7k rpm then let my foot off pedal and it stays in(don't know if it would anyway with mount fucked)but I'll have a look at w/end. Only has jumped out when its getting caned and spinning(when it starts knocking/banging)

Possibly abit paranoid then,just don't want the warranty to run out and find out I've killed 1st,you know what I mean.Had a Ren 5 monaco(1.7) a good few years ago and lost 2nd and 4th(wheelspinning antics)young and foolish,had to put a different box in:(. Not as bad now though...Honest...

Noticed on couple of occasions jumping out of 1st gear when flooring it hard,seems to be when it's struggling for grip.Had a 205 mi16 which used to do the same,so is this because the wheels are spinning=engine is jumping on the mounts knocking it out of gear? Makes no difference whether...

Starting to have a problem which is getting more regular with the immobiliser...turn ignition on...immobiliser light flashes quickly..car won't start..ignition off....back on..try again. Normally it starts after the first cycle but tonight took 3 goes has anyone had/having this problem?

^^Yeah I know what you mean,got just over 7 on mine,changed the oil/filter at 6 for total exce. fully synth.still doing it,not that I changed the oil for that reason but I thought a better oil would have helped

What about the tapping noise at idle coz mine does that,has done it since new but some days it I think it sounds louder than others perhaps I'm being paranoid!
