The fact that there was only three pins on the plug baffled me at first too but then I realised that it's normal for one pin to be missing!
Out of interest, did changing the plugs and coilpack solve the misfire/limp mode issue?
Probably a good idea to get it plugged in by Renault to be honest, save you from the guessing. Are you getting the electronic fault light on the dash? (Orange one with squiggly line) This often implies spark plug/coilpack fault which can also lead to car going into limp mode.
Welcome along! However I expect you're about to be blasted with insults about posting in the wrong section of the forum by some users. Where are you based Coleman?
Car looking great there Chris! The CMC bar is looking good with that cargo net you've got! Nice to see you went for harnesses in the end, a real track car now. Still a daily too?
Tom
I too like the look of the rear bumper with the dremelling you've done. Looks rather track focused IMO, especially with the aerocatches etc. What does the future hold for the car?
This is very nice, I like what you've done with the "diffuser look" on the rear bumper - the cup foglight ducts look excellent in black against the white body too!
A wider track set-up of the complete suspension assembly, the shocks are a different part no. etc.
When you say you're considering getting some wishbones, do you mean uprated items?
Off topic, I think it was you who was having gearbox trouble for a while, did you get it sorted?
Having just posted in your other thread, i've now seen this.
Could be the engine misfiring under acceleration causing the car to shake?
I have noticed a tendency under very slight acceleration for the 172 to shake immediately after a cold start, I put this to a sensor of some sort.
May I suggest that your exhaust tailpipes have been popping mud instead of flames? :P
You should try driving around where I live, your car would look like that again within half a mile!
