Happens to everyone, run a damp cloth in your window channel every so often to try and avoid it getting worse!

What voltage is the battery at? Alternator may be shagged. Have you tried jump/bump starting? Does the immobiliser light stay solid or go out?

Unfortunately not, get ones of these and put a charger in the glove box and job done. Then when you want to sync music unplug from charging port and plug into laptop

You have to bake it in the oven to melt the glue to split it, but why do you need too? The ballast is located under the headlight not inside it
