Nah my back one isn't done. I removed the badges with a little elecy screw driver wrapped up in a microfibre and gentally levered them off. :)

Aye directline are ones to be with! I'm with bell, for the sole purpose of insuring mods. Money grabbing b******s the lot of 'em. Hope you get it sorted hassle free ASAP.

Heard back from the garage at 6ish...it seems to be the leads thats causing the issue...they are arching across the Inlet mani. Damn it!!! I bloddy checked them as well, i obviously couldn't see it! lol...Well i hope thats the last of the issue...and its just the leads causing a prob! Need not...

Had the AA out last night and there was no reported ECU faults...also did the little test with the on board computer button (pressing the toggle button in and turning on ignition), but that returned nothing as well :S Renault couldn't get in until Thursday and i need it done ASAP, its eating...

Bought a new one from renault this morning and fitted...but no change! The car is in the garage now :( Just don't know what it can be!! :dead:

Coil packs are so bad its probably them. Not much other stuff is likly to be to blame. Right thats locked in my mind now ;) Cheers all :)

Is the fan coming on at high temps?

Right getting myself a new pack tomorrow...but i still have an element of doubt that it might be something else...is there anything else that would cause the car to misfire soo bad?? I had the AA chap out earlier and he pretty much confirmed the coil pack is the reason, but couldn't be 100%...

I'm gonna try my mates coil pack first, before ordering one. :) Its just something to eliminate...if it still runs sh1te with his in today, i will be taking it to renault and asking them to sort me out. :)
