YES I do understand why you drive fast, I enjoy it to and have felt the back end become a little unstable in the wet so I can understand why you lost it. The sheer rush and exhilaration of speed is not a secret!!
No I didnt buy my car for its plush interior, that was an added bonus!!! I bought...
No need to apologise GR :). I See it all the time too, gonna be worried sick when my son starts driving.....gotta get him on as many track days as poss, to get it out of his system and teach him to respect the road.
adtmits,
Harsh or truthful? yes I’m happy he’s ok, the last thing I want is to see anyone hurt. But the fact is if he wasn’t doing 100k on a B road chances are it wouldn’t have happened....a friend of my sister did a similar thing, unfortunately he hit a brick wall and killed his passenger :(...
That would be fantastic for clearing road kill off the streets...or for avoiding it by scooping up live bunnies and putting them down safely at the side of the road....ah bless!!
Its The bunny saver bumper!! ;)
LOL!!! What Renault Dealers really mean by import is “a car not sold by us as at stupidly inflated prices, and so immediately making it an inferior car!”
When reality is, they ALL come from the same bl**dy factory and are ALL supplied by Renault to whatever dealer wants them...so ya hard...
Give it back to them..its still not what they told you afterall.
Sounds a bit dodgy to me, why would they re register it any way? And if thats the case, whats to stop me re registering my car every six months to make it look newer?? :confused: I think this is the tip of the iceburg....
Glad to hear you are ok :) thats the most important thing, but not wishing to point any fingers here (people in glass houses and all that!) but if you are done for smashing up a 172 becouse of Dangerous Driving .....*****dont shoot me for saying****** but youve just put up the insurance premiums...
Make way for grannies in fast cars!!!!!! ;)
I thought maybe I was the oldest girlracer in town at 34....BUT NO!!! There is a granny (who I see at the local suppermarket!) with a 172, with cup wheels, lowered, private reg.....says she can fry me anytime!!!!! oo er...to scared to take her...
A renault dealer once offered to match an import price for a new 172...going back a few years...but only snag was he couldnt get one for 3 months, and the importers had 3 in at the time.......:confused:
didnt buy one as i wasnt ready then, but when I was ready to buy I found mine, mk 2, 9...
yep, I agree with Kis172, I have no problems with my import insurance or warranty (well, not any more, its a long story......!)
Still they were wrong not to tell you as it will affect the trade-in value even tho the car will be uk spec.
GR, I was offered £9,500 for my car as part ex on a V6......mines an 02 (march) with 12,000miles...totaly unmarked with brand new alloys.
Im like you when it comes to parking..dont like to leave my car anywhere!!! one of the reasons Im put off getting a V6....
I find that my passenger seat to be quite hard to tilt and move forward (when getting in the back).....makes me wonder if the rails have already been squeezed?:confused:
Anyone else have this problem?
ouch!! bad luck!! dont you just hate sods law ?.......my sister scratched her 3 week old saxo...whats worse is shes never put a mark on a car before and it HAD to be the new one!! :confused:
I think this happens from being to careful.....scratched my bumper when I first got my clio from being...
I drove a V6 at last weekend and WOW!!! Yes please!!!
I would love one as a sunday car, but to have one as a day to day car would be restricting!!!
I wouldnt ever leave it in a car park......just spend my life driving round and round........never going shopping or giving lifts ever...
yep, i agree....dont like 172 wheels. I would have kept any of the other Renault Sport wheels, but not these!! :confused:
The mark 1 172 = nice wheels
Cup = nice wheels
V6 = nice wheels
mark 2 172 = hub cap look a likes!! WHY?????
Yellow clios are cccccccccccoooooooooooooolllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wish they still made the 172 in Yellow coz Id have one in a flash!!!!!!!!!! :D
