I think the idea is that all 172s will be a basic cup, and then you can add optional extras, as much as you want...so in the long run a 172 as it is today will be a cup with all the extras.....possibly?

Its not exactly as if the 172 is a down market cup.....nor is it an upmarket cup. If some one with a 172 was a cup wanna-be then theyd just go out and change their 172 for one and have some money in their pocket.

Why do Renault make a special edition car, use this as the selling point, then make it not so special so quickly by adding other colours/features to it? Do any cup owners feel this way?? Same goes for the mark 1 172 and V6 "Its the best yet.....except now youve bought one we lied, its not, but...

Thats a good result at last!! ;) But I would take a check list with me of things that you need to be sorted and if its not perfect then dont collect it till it is. Pay special attention to the bumper, make sure its mint, has it had a respray or what?? If it is then they shouldnt polish it so...

it sez in the book, that if you have had your car serviced properly and its not missuse then warrenty is ok...it says that window heater elements are covered. Appart from that i cant see it anywhere on the list of things not covered, so i take it that it will be. :D

And I didnt test it by racing!!! Just felt quicker on acceleration so Im happy.....:D

Had mine replaced under warrenty, get it done coz it affects the heater...not that you need it at the mo!!!! Only took em half an hour... Mine said 34 in the winter and when I used the heater it just kept blasting me with cold air...bbbrrrrrrr!!!!! :confused:

I think it makes a difference, more mpg as well......:)
