I used to work for a tyre company and the tyres have a very small amount of dresser on them. Within a few miles they should be fine. (BenR doesnt even have a car except on GT3!)

I agree with you about the LED repeaters. If I had it I would also remove them. Personaly I prefer the stealthier look.

I use the touch up paint then use a surgical knife to very gently remove the raised paint. It takes a steady hand. T-Cut afterwards and you cant even see it! Sounds severe but it only on the paint i have just applied.

Be very carefull with the springs compressed! I saw one slip off and the spring decompress and it wasnt good!
