What sort of marks are around the exhaust cut outs in the bumper? Wouldnt that be the only place it would make contact with? Tbf I doubt it would have enough force to make a tear like that. Someone must of slammed the boot down like a gorilla ?
Also I think the rears are really bad for this, just road driving I push the brakes and pull the handbrake up every so often and its clear that the pads are not seated very well as the brakes come up super sharp after I do it, for about 2 stops lol.
Im looking at full Laguna mk1 rear setup...
Could be knockback on the brakes, happens to me all the time. Apart from the quick dabs Im looking at ap racing anti knockback springs to put in as well which are quite cheap
Just came across these if anyones looking for some.. Not sure on centre bore though

I got this one. Yeah does disconnect sometimes but is generally stable, can get 30+ mins sometimes but other times 10 mins..

Will longer springs raise them up a bit? I assume its because they cant be done up anymore. Also cant seem to find 51mm i/d springs that are long enough anywhere if someone knows where to look?
Done these last week to wrap everything up and get it on the road
Grinded down block for d/s clearance
Dash fully in
Had a bit of a f**k up though! When I put the new drive shaft in I didnt seat the boot correctly and lost a litre of oil :( Ordered another litre which was estimated...
@kaosiow Ouch ? Reminded me when I decided it was a good idea to use a normal drill with a socket attachment on and keep the trigger held on the bolt, spun right way into my face and knocked my glasses off into the engine bay, lesson learnt
No matter what what was new or refreshed the steering was numb and same as you the steering wouldnt come back and had to put in extra input to do anything so ended up with a custom welded column, as they are all bushed standard.. It transformed the steering and now responds with the smallest of...
@MorroN Couldnt answer how much they increase it by, renault thought it was the right thing to do though. Ive just put on ast coilovers and top mounts with increased castor and the turn in is real sharp! Thats a lot more castor however
