remap/ecu upgrade is your only option

changing at around 7k will bring you into 5k on the next gear , mine does anyway ;)

on having the remap you can raise the limiter , increasing the limiter gives you a little more revs in the gear before you hit the limiter , though you lose power after 6800 revs or thereabout , having that little more to play with saves you hitting the limiter every time imo

it does hide the age of the car to the unknown person but does look good imo ....go for it

its the way the car has been from std , always sat lower at the back as compared to the front imo

theres been a few on here but you have to be quick , breakers your best bet , ebay worth a punt as irrc theres one on there atm

after recieving a pm from a member , please note -: well you definatly do need compressors on dci , some other models ie 1.6/1.2 etc you can get around but best be safe and tell everyone you have to use them. I'd hate to imagine the damage it will do when someone try doing a dci in particular...

as said above the rear wiper blade will not fail the mot . mine only cleaned half the window and i bought a new one ready for mot time , but they never tested it :eek: :eek:

as said , the decat will make it louder . the ph1 and 182 cats are much better than the ph2 as they are less restrictive , it will defo add a few more horses though .

before its a 172 v 182 argument , you will need to spend in excess of 1500 quid to get the same kind of power . i'd keep the car and put some money into it . though you wont get that money back when you come to sell her , choices choices ?
