The battery can be pants, but there's lots you can do to improve it. But by virtue of the screen size and the input method (touch) it all has to be powered. Personally I charge mine everynight and it's fine:
-Turn WIFI off.
-Turn location services off.
-Turn Bluetooth off.
-Turn screen...
I guess their thinking was if you wanted privacy the only way to guarantee it is to set a passcode.
As it's my business phone, I enforce a policy via Activesync anyway, but I really don't see the issue with setting a passcode and if need be set it to be required after 15 minutes.
If I lose my...
Just to quantify that (was in a rush earlier), then 172 feels sloppy in comparison to a cupped 182. The changes aren't simply the 10bhp/mani/exhaust.
Don't get me wrong it's not night and day, but if you go from one to another you'll notice the difference.
Yeah sorry Daz, I was speaking broadly, my point being if you disable the FW it will be easier to diagnose for the average user. Adding the exception for RDP as we suggested would do it.
Nobody here is saying that though Gaz, from the POV of buying into the Clio range either a 182 or a 197 would be an ideal starting point. Each model has it's own issues, and neither is the perfect car - but both are great in the scheme of things.
With that said, on the engine side of things...
More thirsty or not, there's no point pretending any 'performance' car is going to return good MPG while being thrashed. I know even my 172 used to tell me it was giving 16MPG when opened up on a motorway foot-to-floor session.
Regardless it's a mute point. Neither are described as economical.
Put it on IMO, review it and then take it off. Be interested to hear how it affects the car, and it's not going to cause your motor to spontaneously combust.
^That 'lagless' feeling is true of ANY firmware update though, i expect it clears out the cache on the phone. Give it a week and then see if it's still lagless.
Getting tired of Apples inability to address the Enterprise needs of many of its userbase. Seems to me that they're leaving it to 3rd...
Your point is? A 197 without a remap will see sub-20's when being hammered, the same for the 172/182, and for that matter most other similar cars.
Meg is a better car, no question.
