ok, cause my dad just given me a lecture about it saying 2dealerships said that, i thought it was b****cks as otherwise they wunt let you even fit 17s.
also..would anyone be able to actually get proof so i can show my dad as he keeps saying to me, buy from a dealership they know more and you get...
just been to a renault dealer ship and they said if you put 17inch wheels on a 1.2 16v lets say then this is illegal, as if you take it for a service they wont touch it and it can damage the prop and drive shaft?

my best mate is trying to get insured on a 53plate 172 which he is buying for 5,800!
what are the chances of him getting insured?
i thought about 2%!
he can either go on his dads fleet insurance, get his own or can be a named driver...anyone help so i can tell him how stupid he is.lol

ok thanks, im probably gonna get a load of red hosing any way to tidy up the tubes and wires so that will help i suppose, is there and website on how to clean engine bays and how long will it take to do it properly for a virgin engine bay cleaner!

is cleaning it just using a bucket of water and wetting the necessary bits, bit by bit better than just drenching it with a hose?
there must be some wires i need to cover!
