No secrets here mate :) Power figures are down since converting to efi. We are running a different turbo set up to make the power earlier with more torque. Engine a lot more responsive with the efi. 200bhp with 197lb/ft @4500rpm

New wheels arrived.

Had mine for 9 years and loved it. takes some getting used to when cold especially with the SMG box. Put a smile on my face every time I drove it, even the wife got to love it :)

Car went well, few electrical gremlins all day but a 4th and 6th overall with a best time of 56.3. The new set up is very responsive and was good fun. We need to sort suspension as loosing traction through the corners. Overall a great days racing considering its first time out with the EFI.

Good point Dave. Theres a Renault 5 gt turbo with the same set up as me running 30psi and making over 300bhp. This is a road car, would be very surprised if it would last more than a of lap on track getting ragged..

Should be interesting with us both having new set ups, not even drove mine properly yet. Brands will be my test day now as no time...

Nice work James.......... but, Cant see this in class A though, a supercharged Clio.... Class G has all the misfits :) even though mine is all original!!!!! Consider the can of worms officially opened.

When I was thinking about racing, I asked a racer or some advise. He said " I hope you have deep pockets " An average weekends racing for me cost £500.

Easy repair mate, now we know what it is. Shame to waste a day but I guess that why we go testing to find any problems.

We had an absolute shocker !!!! Got on track to do a few laps with hardly any brakes. Discs were slighty rusty where cars been sitting over the winter so needed a few laps to clean them up. Brakes getting better, then developed a misfire. After 5 laps got pulled in for being too loud. Car...

Brands Hatch tomorrow with renaultsport for a run out.
